Old fashioned Hollingbourne street.
looking down Upper Street towards Eyhorne Street Hollingbourne, Kent, South East England. Three settlements that date back to Anglo Saxon and Roman times are still recognisable today as Broad Street, Eyhorne Street and Upper Street. Virtually every building has been listed as having special architectural or historic interest (106 total).
Hollingbourne is listed in the Domesday book and is a small village, run by a Parish council, near the North Downs and five miles from Maidstone in South East England. There are over one hundred listed buildings and the village boasts three pubs!. I spent time there as a child with my Godmother. These images were taken on a recent visit when I returned to see if I could find Little Snagbrook (where she lived). See more scenes from this charming place
